Alfred Binet was associated with the first intelligence test. He sought out to develop a measurement that would sort out those children whose intellectual development was inferior to normal intelligence.

 

His first experiment measured the abilities of individuals. Next, would be the “IQ” also known as the intelligence quotient. Passing this test, meant that an individual solved more problems than any norming group for their age group.
